Video & Results: BMRC Motorcycle Circuit Races

October 30, 2017

With only two more race days left in the season, racers are pushing their all into ending the season on a high.

“Minibike Juniors welcomed a new competitor, Jediah Cumbermack [age 11], who secured a solid third overall for all three heats of the day,” the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club said.

“Jediah is the BMRC’s newest racer and joined the club last Spring. He is a welcome challenge to the rest of the Junior class. Kymaree Pitt fought for his second place title in all three heats for the Juniors with Aeziah Divine securing his win for the day in all of his heats.

“Keimari Burchall led the Seniors division alongside the Juniors throughout the day’s races while showcasing his talent by returning to the front of the group after losing control of his bike at the half-way mark but regaining his position soon after.

“Scooters were out in force with 8 racers gridding up for Heat 1. Oleander Cycle’s racer, Jason Pacheco, climbed his way to fourth place on his modified TRex in the first heat of the day before a sudden engine problem arose after he crossed the checkered flag which pulled him out of the race for the remaining heats.

“Devone ‘Red’ Bailey continued with his vast lead over competitors in the Scooter 70 class. Kenny Desilva was an aggressive second for the day while Ricky Wade and Nasaje Anderson put forward an incredibly close fight for third with both racers taking the position at least once each over the course of the day.”

The club has two more race days for the year on November 12th and 19th.
