Basketball Elite League: Hornets & Storm Win
250 points were scored in a Bermuda Basketball Elite City League double header inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
In the opener the Hornets defeated the Marksmen 68- 40, Jorel Smith scored a game high 19 points to lead the Hornets to victory, while Q’shai Darrell scored 12 points for the Marksmen.
Game 2 saw the defending Champion Fort Knox Panthers go down to the Storm 68-74, Jaren Haley scored 25 for the Storm, while the Panthers got 15 points from Kameron James.
