Chef Marcus Samuelsson To Host Two Events

[Updated] This weekend, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson will be hosting two events at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

“Marcus Samuelsson will be hosting a Fried Chicken Dinner on Saturday, December 2, pairing his signature Fried Yard Bird with champagnes from Veuve Fourny, Jacquesson, Marie Courtin and P. Gimonnet & Fils. The three-course dinner will showcase how to complement every day comfort food with the finest champagnes,” a spokesperson said.

“On the evening of Sunday, December 3, guests will be treated to an opportunity to watch Marcus Samuelsson demonstrate how to make some of his favourite food, followed by a delicious buffet by the waterside.”

Marcus Samuelsson said: “It’s always a treat to visit Bermuda and the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. I’m thrilled to be hosting two dinner events this weekend that will include some of my signature dishes available at Marcus’, such as the Fried Yard Bird, as well as some of my favourite recipes from my cookbooks.”

The Fried Chicken Dinner will be held at Marcus’ on Saturday, December 2 from 6pm until 9pm. The three course meal costs $150, including gratuities, and includes champagne.

Marcus Samuelsson’s Cooking Demonstration will take place on the Regency Terrace of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club on Sunday, December 3 from 5pm onwards. Tickets for the event include the demonstration and buffet dinner and cost $135, including gratuities. Tickets must be booked in advance and can be purchased at www.ptix.bm.

Marcus’ is open for lunch from 12pm to 3pm, dinner from 6pm to 10pm and late-night dining from 10pm to 12am. Champagne brunch is served on Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.
