Ball Hockey League: Montreal & Canucks Win

Sixteen goals were scored in the latest round of the Bermuda Ball Hockey League at the PCC Hockey Rink.

Winnipeg Jets 2 Montreal Canadiens 4

The Montreal Canadiens defeated the Winnipeg Jets 4 – 2 in the opener, Jeff Sagster scored twice for the Montreal Canadiens, who also got a goal from Bill Calko and Mark James, while Matt Katzsch and Shane Matchett scored a goal each for the Winnipeg Jets.

Vancouver Canucks 7 Edmonton Oilers 3

The nightcap saw ten goals as the Vancouver Canucks used 5 goals in the second period to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 7 – 3.

Ross Rufiange would score a hattrick to lead the Vancouver Canucks to victory, they would also get 2 goals from Nathan Kowalski and single strikes from Ernest Theriault and Shannon Goose. The Edmonton Oilers would get single strikes from Nate Hause, Chad Cundliffe and Warren Miller.
