Basketball Elite League: Falcons & Hornets Win
The Bermuda Basketball Elite City League Play-offs continued inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
In Game 1, the Falcons defeated the Marksmen by a score of 94 – 64.
The Falcons were led to victory by Kevin Stephens who had 24 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals, while his teammate Ian Lim scored 24 points, he had 2rebounds and 4 steals. The Marksmen were led by Dean Jones who scored 22 points, he had 20 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 block shots, while George Peets had 16 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.
Game 2 saw the Hornets defeated the Lions 61 – 53, Jorel Smith led the Hornets with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals, while Jericho Tucker scored 18 points for the Lions, he also had 11 rebounds.
