No One Seriously Injured In Two Car Collision

The two car collision in Sunday evening [Dec 3] in Flatts “resulted in no serious injuries,” the police confirmed, with all three women having been discharged from the hospital.

A police spokesperson said, “A two car collision that occurred around 7:45pm Sunday, December 3rd on North Shore Road, Smith’s parish in the area of Flatts Village resulted in no serious injuries.

“The two cars were apparently being driven in opposite directions at the time. It is now confirmed that three people were involved.

“The driver and front seat passenger of one of the vehicles, believed to be a 57 year old Warwick woman and a 37 year old Pembroke woman respectively, were initially trapped and had to be extracted by Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel.

“It appears that the driver of the other vehicle, believed to be a 30 year old Sandys parish woman, was not injured.

“All three women were transported via ambulance to the hospital for medical assessment and later discharged. Both cars were damaged and inquiries continue.
