Swimming: Four More Records Set On Final Day

The 2017 edition of the Mailboxes Unlimited Winter Age Group Championships came to an end at the BASA Pool.

Four records fell on the final day, with Logan Watson-Brown of the Sharks Swim Club breaking the 13-14 Girls 400 Freestyle Record. Watson Brown clocked a time of 4:34.63 breaking Emma Harvey’s record time of 4:41.15 set back on April 25th 2015 at the BASA Pool.

Sam Williamson broke a 23 year old record in the 13-14 Boy’s 100m Breaststroke when he touched the wall in a time of 1:10.83, breaking Trevor Nelson’s record of 1:11.23 set back on November 1st 1994.

Keagan Woolley of the Sharks Swim Club broke the 13-14 Boy’s 50m Breaststroke record while swimming the 100m Breaststroke. It was his record at 32.45 and he swam 32.18.

Jack Harvey, Emma Kittleson, Finn Moseley and Alyson Scherer set a new record in the 4×200 Mixed Gender Relay.
