    • bdaboy says:

      • TO bda boy:

        Rubbish response. The answer:
Yes!! This is a part of Bermuda’s counterculture!!
        NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT!!

      • Onion Juice says:

You do realize that de slave masters in Bermuda wanted to eradicate de Gombeys, so trying to make fun of this Cultural event is an INSULT to African Bermudians !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        • bdaboy says:

OJ, you’re an insult to humanity.

No one cares about your weak little ego.

    • Zevon says:

No, it’s Bermuda’s culture. Having a nice time on the beach.

      • Onion Juice says:

Um, Bermuda’s Culture dont consist of going to de beach in WINTER, especially during de Christmas period, as most of us gather at home with our families.
I understand that ex-pats are away from their families during this time of de year and its an outlet and fellowship for them, but to adopt it as a part of Bermuda Culture is like saying a Canadian butter tart is an English butter pie.

        • Anbu says:

Happens every year in the same place at the same time oj. And oh look it just happens to be in Bermuda. Looks like culture to me. Deffinitely not your culture tho. Thank god.

        • Zevon says:

It’s Bermuda’s culture. Plenty of Bermudians are there enjoying it with our friends, some of whom are expats, and with our families.

Frankly, you should stay at home. You wouldn’t enjoy it. Some people enjoy it. You wouldn’t.

        • Mrs Brady says:

You usual narrow mindedness has got you again. This has become part of Bermuda culture whether you like it or not. Thousands of people of all backgrounds were there.

        • wahoo says:

Or like carnival on Bermuda day?

      • UUmmm, Zevon:

Most foreigners do not understand what being a Bermudian at Christmas time is all about. They NEVER will!! ( HEEHEE)

  2. Triangle Drifter says:

Nah the counter culture was in every home yesterday. No matter what everyone hangs around the counter in the kitchen till it is time for the dishes to be done.

  3. Y-Gurl says:

How many parking tickets were given out by the keystone cops.

    • Sooooo says:

Not sure, but would really like to thanks Horizons for opening their property to the public for parking, a wonderful Christmas gesture.

    • Wahoo juice says:
