Klout Social Media Rankings For January 2018

There was a major shift in the Bermuda social media influence rankings as three new entries joined the Top 10 for the first time. Also, many people saw their Klout scores shift by four points or more, and some saw their scores drop by more than 10 points.

Klout measures a person’s social media influence over a variety of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, FourSquare, Wikipedia, Google+ and Bing.

Chubb Insurance, achieved its highest score ever with a 78, which ties it for second place with Bernews and reggae star Collie Buddz.

Ledrew Fox, who posts about Christianity, also joined the Top 10 at number seven with a score of 74. Journalist Clare O’Connor reached number nine with news of her moving from Forbes to Bumble this month.

WWE legend and FOX commentator John Layfield remains number one with singer-songwriter Heather Nova at number two.

The rest of the Top 10 are One Communication [#6, 74], The Bermuda Tourism Authority [#8, 70] and joint 10th at 66 points were the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, journalist Don Burgess and entertainer Mike Hind.

The other change saw Education Minister Diallo Rabain become the top-ranked politician with a 62, while former Premier Michael Dunkley saw his total fall to 54.

The drop in scores also saw the list shift downward from 57 to 53 points to crack the Top 50.
