339 Points Scored In Basketball Triple Header
The Bermuda Basketball Winter League sponsored by One saw 339 points scored on a triple header night inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
Game 1 saw the Warwick Rimrockers defeat the Pembroke Skyforce 71 – 50. The Warwick Rimrockers were led by Phillip Burgess who scored 20 points, he had 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal, while Jorel Smith scored 28 points for the Pembroke Skyforce, he also added 1 rebound, 3 assists and 4 steals.
The Southampton Thundercats then defeat the Hamilton Parish Rockets 63 – 49. Jason Lowe would led the Southampton Thundercats with 28 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot, with the Hamilton Parish Rockets getting 21 points from Kameron James, he would add 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
The final game of the night saw the Somerset Tsunamis defeat the Hamilton City Twisters 56 – 50. The Somerset Tsunamis were led by Jahmyl Robinson with 16 points, 2 assists and 1 steal, while the Hamilton City Twisters were led by Darae Smith who had 20 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.
