Basketball Winter League: Twisters, Rockets Win
The Bermuda Basketball Winter League sponsored by ONE saw 227 points scored on the night inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
Game 1 on the night saw the Hamilton City Twisters defeat the Paget Flyboys 59 – 50, the Hamilton City Twisters got 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals from Kyle Van Heren, while the Paget Flyboys were led by Dion Easton who had 16 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block.
Game 2 saw the Hamilton Parish Rockets defeat the Smiths Court Kings by a score of 60 – 58. The Hamilton Parish Rockets were led to victory by Chae Powell who scored 20 points, he had 6 rebounds and 1 steal, while the Smith Court Kings got 23 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals from Jericho Tucker.
