Bermudians Compete: Vermont Championships

Zekiah Lewis, Sajan Harvey, Matteo Dill and Malik Joell all represented St Johnsbury Academy during the Vermont Division 1 State Indoor Championship.

Lewis competing in the Women’s Varsity Long Jump finished 2nd with a top leap of 4.87m, Lewis then finished 6th during the Women’s Varsity 55 Meter Dash stopping the clock in a time of 7.75.

Lewis would lead off the victorious St Johnsbury Women’s Varsity 4×200 Relay team as they stopped the clock in a time of 1:53.03.

Dill clocked 38.85 on his way to finishing 6th while competing in the Men’s Varsity 300 Meters, while Joell finished 2nd competing in the Men’s Varsity 600 Meters race with a time of 1:30.77.

Harvey finished 2nd in the Men’s Varsity 1000 Meters stopping the clock in a time of 2:47.32, while in the Men’s Varsity 4×400 Relay, Harvey and Joell helped St Johnsbury finish 3rd clocking a time of 3:45.93.

Harvey and Joell were also members of the St Johnsbury Men’s Varsity 4×800 Relay team that clocked a winning time of 8:53.35.

Dill finished 5th competing in the Men’s Varsity Long Jump with a top leap of 5.48m, Dill would then finish 2nd in the Men’s Varsity Triple Jump with a top leap of 12.49m.
