Cox Hallett Wilkinson Appoint Anne Campbell

Anne Campbell Bermuda Feb 2018Cox Hallett Wilkinson [CHW] said they are “implementing a strategy to grow the firm in 2018,” which commenced this month with the appointment of Associate, Anne Campbell, to its Private Client and Real Estate Department.

This year, CHW will be introducing new talent across the firm to service clients’ needs, and increase the pool of talent and experience, the company said.

“We have plans for managing growth in demand for legal and professional services by hiring both young and seasoned talent to complement the Private Client group as well as our Litigation and Corporate departments,” said Managing Director, Ernest Morrison.

“The introduction of additional attorneys will complement existing teams, expand our skill sets and allow us to continue to provide excellent advice and professional services to a sophisticated and demanding client base.”

Ms. Campbell will be responsible for advising on all aspects of estate and succession planning including wealth preservation and asset protection, wills, probates, resealing of foreign grants, ordinary and enduring powers of attorney, receivership applications and trust law matters. In addition, she will reinforce the teams handling large and often complex family trust groups that have become a cornerstone of our private client practice

With over eight years’ post-qualification experience in London law firms, she can advise on a range of aspects of Bermuda trust and estates law, including complex probates with an international and multi-jurisdiction element.

Ms. Campbell was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2009, in the Republic of Ireland in 2010 and is currently a Registered Associate member of the Bermuda Bar.

In addition to her work in the private client sector, she has completed pro-bono work with the International Action Team at the Law Society of England and Wales on behalf of lawyers at risk across the globe. She is an Affiliate Member of the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners [STEP].
