Temporary Closure of Airport Long Term Parking
The long-term car park at LF Wade International Airport will temporarily closed starting today for repainting of parking lines.
“The car park will be completely closed to the public for all vehicles from Wednesday, February 14 until Friday, February 23 for the refurbishment of the line markings. However, travellers can park in the overflow parking area, which is located to the east of the long term lot, behind the taxi stand,” Skyport said.
“Painting is expected to begin on February 21. Closing the lot a few days before painting is scheduled will allow time for vehicles to vacate the area.”
“Skyport will install appropriate signage and barricades to prevent the public from parking in the area. The work is expected to be completed by February 23, weather permitting.”
Mikaela Pearman, Marketing & Communications Officer, Skyport, says: “The line painting is part of the ongoing cosmetic upgrades to the airport while the new terminal is being built.
