Two Injured In Collision On Middle Road
Two drivers were injured following a collision on Middle Road in Southampton in the area of Five Star Island yesterday [Feb 14].
A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision that took place on Wednesday, February 14th at 8:09am on Middle Road in Southampton in the area of Five Star Island.
“It appears that a car was travelling in an easterly direction along Middle Road near Five Star Island and a van was traveling in the opposite direction and one of the vehicles crossed the yellow line resulting in a collision.
“Both drivers of the vehicles were taken to the hospital with injures, one with arm and upper body injures and the other driver received arm and head injuries. None of the injuries appear to be live threatening and both vehicles were extensively damaged.
“An investigation in to the incident is underway and any witnesses are acted to contact Roads Policing Unit on 2950011.”
