Video: Sunday Feb 11th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

A plaque honouring the life of Mary Prince being unveiled, Bermuda’s team in the Winter Olympics opening ceremony, twelve charities receiving over $15,000, and Marvin Ford landing a part in Sting musical in the United Kingdom, and were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Bermudian actress Lana Young was on the set of the Oprah Winfrey Network production “Love Is__”, Premier David Burt impressed by Prospect Primary School’s assembly, Arijahknow Live Wires performed in Jamaica in celebration of Bob Marley’s 73rd birthday, Patrick Singleton carried the Winter Olympic torch in South Korea and Argus donated $15,000 to Family Centre.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage the Bermuda Union of Teachers 5K race, Bermuda Field Hockey action, the unveiling of the Mary Prince plaque, Mountain Bike Race Series action, the BFA Girl’s Football League, and the Netball Association Zone Match.
