Football Friendly: Antigua Defeat Bermuda 3 – 2

In their first of two friendly matches on their Caribbean tour, Bermuda was defeated by Antigua 3 – 2, with the Bermuda goals scored by Reggie Lambe and Zeiko Lewis.

Bermuda’s starting lineup was Reggie Lambe [C], Jahquil Hill, Roger Lee, Darren Usher, Lejaun Simmons, Donte Brangman, Casey Castle, Willie Clemons, Zeiko Lewis, Naeem Griffith, and Jaylon Bather.

The host went in front in the 13th minute when Rhys Browne capitalized on a back pass and scored, and Bermuda were level at 1 – 1 in the 25th minute when Zeiko Lewis scored from inside the box.

The teams went to the break with the score deadlocked at 1 – 1.

Antigua would take a 2 – 1 lead when Joshua Parker scored in the 58th minute and then two minutes later the host were ahead 3 – 1 when Myles Weston scored.

Bermuda captain Reggie Lambe would pull Bermuda within one with 20 minutes to play, but the host were able to hold on for the win.
