Football Team Named For International Friendlies

The Bermuda Football Association announced the Bermuda Senor Men’s Team that will depart Bermuda on Monday March 19th to participate in two international friendlies. The Gombey Warriors will play Antigua & Barbuda on Wednesday March 21st and Barbados on March 25th.

The BFA said, “The Gombey warriors will continue their preparation for the CONCACAF Nations League with these two friendly matches. Bermuda last played Antigua and Barbuda in 2008 when Antigua were comfortable winners.

“Bermuda fans will recall Bermuda and Barbados contesting a thrilling match at the National Sport Center in October where the Gombey Warriors were defeated 3-2. The team and staff are raring to go and ready to register two good results on the road.”

    Unfortunate that up to 6 of our pro players are either not available or cannot play for various reasons.
    Regardless, I hope the lads represent and do Bermuda proud.
