Netball: Storm, NVCC, Tigers & Phoenix Win
The Bermuda Netball Association’s League Season resumed at Bernard’s Park.
In Under 12 Division action the Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams White 18 – 2. The Storm got 13 goals from Jamir Hatherley, while Amaya Burt added 4 goals and Makaylie Smith scored once, and the North Village Lady Rams White got single goals from Malikah Tankard and Kalahni Fishenden.
The North Village Lady Rams Red defeated the Warriors 23 – 7, Sanaa Berkeley scored 11 goals to lead the North Village Lady Rams to victory, Brianna Benevides added 7 goals and Kemauri Darrell scored 5 times. The Warriors would get 5 goals from Kammie Mills, to go along with single goals from Jerziyae Fubler and Eliyah Seon.
The Under 16 Division also saw a double header with the North Village Lady Rams defeating the Phoenix Fire 19 – 15. The North Village Lady Rams got 11 goals from Gabrielle Romaine, while Coriah Simmons added the other 8 goals, while the Phoenix Fire got 14 goals from Nisiah Berkeley and one goal from K”xiyae Gibbons.
In the other game Kisaye Bell scored 18 goals and Jade Johnston scored 16 goals helping the Storm defeat the Warriors 34 – 0.
In Seniors League Play the Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams White 50 – 32. The Storm got 30 goals from Kaamilah Nasir, while Nabiilah Nasir added 20 goals, Zariah Amory scored 16 goals for the North Village Lady Rams White, with Nikita Trott adding 10 goals and Xon-naye Hunt scored 6 goals.
The Lindos Tigers defeated the Blazzin Phoenix 38 – 17, the Lindos Tigers got 25 goals from Jahkenya Trott, Charlene Bogle-Gomez added 13 goals, while the Blazzin Ohoenix got 15 goals from Keizhari Knights and Shondenae Woods-Bell added 2 goals.
The Phoenix Heat defeated Robin Hood 69 – 7 in the final game of the night, Danielle Raynor scored 49 goals to lead the Phoenix heat to victory, with Ebonie Cox adding 20 goals, Caz Hobson scored 3 goals for Robin Hood, Kessiah Jackson added 2 goals, with Jess Arneil and Sarah Moledo-Osland both adding a goal each.
