People can buy a Bermuda kite while supporting a good cause as the Salvation Army annual kite sale is currently underway at their King Street location, with participants in the Harbour Light programme putting their kite making skills to use, with the funds raised going towards some of the initiatives.

A spokesperson said, “Here at Salvation Army Harbour Light at 44 King Street, we are looking at some of the kites that are available to the public.

“We have a large range of kites including standard kites and roundies. A standard kite will go for $25.00 and we have roundies available from $35-45.00, up to $60.00 in a multitude of colors. You can stop by and come and see what we have.

“If you’re interested, you can come by and pick up a kite for yourself or for your loved ones. They are available from Monday to Saturday, and you can call us at 292-2586.”
