Air Canada Flight Diverts To Bermuda
Air Canada flight #1557 landed at L.F. Wade International Airport this afternoon [April 2] to disembark a passenger who required medical attention.
The Air Canada flight was on it’s way from Punta Cana International Airport in Dominican Republic to Halifax when it diverted to Bermuda.
Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel and airport representatives met the airliner at the main terminal where the passenger was transferred to an ambulance and transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able.
Does anyone know if the gentleman on the flight is feeling better today? I was on this flight.
