Winnipeg Jets Win Ball Hockey Championship

The Winnipeg Jets were crowned the Bermuda Ball Hockey Association 2017-18 Champions after defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 3 – 2.

With the Series tied at 1 – 1, the game was a winner take all, that saw four goals scored in the final period.

Jeffery Morash scored the only goal of the 1st period to give the Winnipeg Jets the lead. Neither team would score in the 2nd period setting up a tense final 20 minutes.

In the 3rd period the Toronto Maple Leafs drew level when Brian White scored, but soon after the Winnipeg Jets would go back in front when Matt Benson scored, Jeremy Estey would put the Winnipeg Jets up 3 – 1 when he found the back of the net.

With five minutes remaining Ronnie Dzurus pulled a goal back for the Toronto Maple Leafs making it 3 – 2, but they could not find the equalizer earning the Winnipeg Jets the win.
