Bermuda Runners Compete In Boston Marathon

The day that Desiree Linden became the first American to win the Boston Marathon in 33 years, Bermuda runners were also part of the field.

Five athletes flying the Bermuda Flag on their registration form braved the less than welcoming conditions and the chilly rain.

Jamie Fraser was the first of the group to cross the line he finished 2,333rd overall in a time of 3:03:36, while Giselle Yeung finished 6,276th clocking 3:23:55.

Allison Schindel clocked a time of 3:30:29 finishing 8,098th, while Tracey Sutherland finished 12,198th clocking 3:45:32 and Whitney Iuliano finished 21,453rd overall in a time of 4:40:24.
