April 27, 2018

After laying claim to a 431.1lb bluefin tuna earlier this month, Captain Bobby Lambe of the fishing vessel ‘Last Chance’ has outdone himself with his latest catch – a 499.5lb blue marlin.

The blue marlin was brought to shore arriving at Robinson’s Marina dock this morning.

Can’t we just go back to bottom fishing?
There will be nothing left of these old fish.
The $thousands will be nice today; and nothing for the future.
    Namaste’.

Beautiful animal. As far as I know we don’t eat blue marlin here so what use will we make of this animal? Or is it to be hung on someone’s wall? What a waste to satisfy someones hunting pleasure. Remind me – how different is this from African safari hunting?
