Franklin Advances In Commonwealth Games

The Commonwealth Games Squash Tournament got underway with the Men’s Singles Round of 64 matches, with Bermuda’s Micah Franklin in action. Franklin continued the island’s quality showing at these Games, defeating James Fayia from Sierra Leone; winning 11-2, 11-3, 11-1.

The squash player is one of eight athletes representing Bermuda at these Games, with Franklin joined by Tyler Butterfield, Tre Houston, Tyrone Smith, Kyle Webb, Flora Duffy, Erica Hawley and Tyler Smith.
