April 18, 2018

The M-CORE School of Health is getting set to hold the MD X Games on Sunday, April 22 at the National Sports Centre’s south field.

A spokesperson said, “The M-CORE School of Health has been working since August 2017 to develop a community event that focuses on ambidexterity. M-CORE is proud to announce the first ‘MD X Games.’ The free event will be held this Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 at The National Sports Centre South Field from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

“Ambidextrous usually refers to the ability to use both the right and left hands with equal ease. But rarely is the equal dexterity of other parts of the body emphasized. Hence the purpose for the MD X Games. M-CORE School of Health believes that this Ambidextrous Event will promote total well-being by engaging the entire body through a series of exciting activities and physical challenges.”

M-CORE School of Health owner Monroe Darrell said, “In keeping in line with M-CORE’s vision, this event will promote total health by facilitating interactive activities and competition that use both the left and right sides of the body, including; brain function, motor skills and sports activities, etc. M-CORE’s FREE bespoke event will be open to the public and will attract both young and professional athletes, sports enthusiasts, fitness buffs and health-conscious individuals, to name a few.”

“Healthy food and drink options will be available for purchase, and there will be activities for kids, music, as well as an emcee on site to create a fun community event for people of all ages.

Monroe Darrell said, “I expect people to be surprised as they engage both sides of the body in simple ways they may not have thought to before, and it his desire that the community shifts to using the entire human body to elevate one’s overall health and wellness.”
