Team Named For CONCACAF Women’s U17

The Bermuda Football Association announced the Women’s U17 National Team that will represent Bermuda in the CONCACAF Women’s U17 Championship.

The BFA spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association is pleased to announce the Women’s U17 National Team that will represent Bermuda in the CONCACAF Women’s U17 Championship.

“The final tournament will be held in Managua, Nicaragua. Our Lady Gombey Warriors qualified through fantastic performances during the Caribbean Qualifying Championships held in St Lucia and Haiti in 2017. The team and staff are:

“The Lady Gombey Warriors open their World Cup Qualifying campaign at the Nicaragua National Football Stadium against Canada on April 20th. Two days later, Bermuda will play USA. Our girls will close out the group stage with their match against Costa Rica on April 24th.

“The top two teams from each group will move on to the semi-finals. The Concacaf Champion, 2nd and 3rd placed teams will qualify to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay later this year.”
