Tomorrow’s Voices Autism Centre is encouraging everyone to come out and Bounce for Autism this Saturday, April 14th.

This year marks the 8th year of this event, which will take place at its new location at Police Field from 2pm-8pm.

The event will feature up to 15 fun castles and waterslides, bouncy races and dance competitions throughout the day that is sure to keep the whole family entertained, while also raising awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Disabilities.

Special guests include DanceSations, Bermuda Jump Rope Federation, LiveWires, MC Qianemon and DJ Markie T. There will also be exciting prizes up for grabs.

Tomorrow’s Voices information booth will be set up throughout the day, all in the name of raising Autism Awareness and support in Bermuda. Admission is $12, which includes all-day fun castle access and one entrance raffle per person, with prizes included. All proceeds benefit the Tomorrow’s Voices Autism Centre and the families it supports.

The day was designed to help Tomorrow’s Voices raise awareness of Autism while celebrating those young people and adults who live successfully with the disorders every day.

The event helps to raise funds for Tomorrow’s Voices’ much-needed Centre and services, as well as broaden awareness of the autism spectrum and other developmental challenges that are increasingly affecting families in Bermuda.

The organisers said, “For the eighth year in a row, major sponsors Funtyme Entertainment have generously donated all of their bouncy castles in support of Bounce for Autism.

“The day would not be a success without the help of our supporting sponsors D&J Construction, BELCO, Clarien Bank Limited, Tokio Millennium Re, Chubb, MS Amlin, The Market Place, Arnolds Markets, The Dog House, Goslings, Butterfield & Vallis, Dunkleys, One Communications, EFY Laundry & Linen, Crow Lane Bakery, Play Games Entertainment, Hot Dog Delight, Affordable Party Rentals, KJ&K Security and Xtreme Games.

“Additional thanks to our raffle sponsors Coco Reef Resort, Hamilton Princess, Rosedon Hotel, Swizzle Inn, People’s, Digicel, Brown & Co., Demco, Maxilous and Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center, all of whom have supported the event with exciting raffle prizes.”

The charity is looking for volunteers to assist with the Fun Day, and anyone who is interested in helping is encouraged to call or email.
