32-Year-Old Woman Stable In ICU After Collision

A 32-year-old woman is in stable condition in the ICU following a collision on Parsons Road in Pembroke yesterday [May 29], according to police.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:30am Tuesday, May 29th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Parsons Road and The Glebe Road in Pembroke.

“It appears that a motorcyclist was traveling along Parsons Road and a car driver was traveling along The Glebe Road when the collision occurred as the driver of the car attempted to turn on to Parsons Road.

“The injured rider, believed to be a 32-year-old Devonshire woman, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and at last check this morning [May 30th] was listed in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

“There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles involved were damaged.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
