Inline Ball Hockey: Tuckers, Southampton Win
Twenty-one goals were scored at the PCC Hockey Rink as the 2018 Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League season continued.
St. David’s Islanders 5 Tuckers Town Tropics 6
Eleven goals were scored in the opener as the Tuckers Town Tropics edged the St. David’s Islanders 6 – 5.
Owen Siese scored his second consecutive hat-trick to lead the Tuckers Town Tropics to victory, Christopher Merritt added two goals and Tom Miller added the other. The St. David’s Islanders got two goals from Christopher Jackson and single strikes from Pete Brodsky, Scott Shannon and Jeremy Estey.
Warwick Waves 1 Southampton Sailors 9
In the nightcap the Southampton Sailors defeated the Warwick Waves 9 – 1.
Townie Jackson led the Southampton Sailors with a hat-trick, Andrew Curnow and Craig Rowat both added two goals each. The Southampton Sailors would also get single strikes from Adam Mattatall and Chris Crantier, while Matthew Benson scored the lone goal for the Warwick Waves.
