National Swimming Championships Continues
The second night of the Validus National Swimming National Championships started off with another record breaking performance at the National Aquatics Center.
During the Boys 13 & Over 400 LC Meter IM Brian Desmond touched the wall in a time of 5:02.22, breaking Ethan Daley’s record time of 5:02.27 set back on June 4th 2016 during the Age Group International in Canada.
Gabriela Pitman clocked the fastest Girls 13 & Over 50 LC Meter Backstroke Preliminary time of 34.14, Shannon Hassell was second clocking 34.81 and Jaedyn Judd finished third with a time of 35.93.
During the Boys 13 & Over 50 LC Meter Backstroke Preliminaries, Jesse Washington clocked the fastest time of 30.56, Jack Harvey finished second with a time of 30.90 and Caleb Ingham finished third with a time of 32.02.
