44-Year-Old Man Stable In ICU After Collision

[Updated] A 44-year-old man injured in a rental scooter crash in St. George’s on Sunday [June 24] remains in stable condition in the ICU.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [June 27th] the 44-year-old St. George’s man seriously hurt in a single vehicle rental scooter crash around 10:50pm Sunday, June 24th on Wellington Slip Road in St. George’s remained in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries continue and witnesses or persons with relevant information that have not already come forward are still asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”

Update June 28, 11.55am: A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [June 28th] the 44-year-old St. George’s man seriously hurt in a single vehicle rental scooter crash around 10:50pm Sunday, June 24th on Wellington Slip Road in St. George’s remained in stable condition but had been transferred from the Intensive Care Unit to a general ward at the hospital.

“Inquiries continue and witnesses or persons with relevant information that have not already come forward are still asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
