Bermuda Trio Compete In UK Powerboat Race

Bermuda’s Shaki Easton, M’Kai Hodsoll and Errin Butterfield all competed in the Fortitudo Property Poole Bay 100 Offshore Powerboat Race in the UK.

Seventeen boats went to the startline in the Class 3 British Championship under partly cloudy skies winds Easterly at 7mph.

Easton & Hodsoll competed together, while Butterfield was the co-pilot for Kerry Bobin.

At the end of the first lap Bobin and Butterfield were in second place, while Easton and Hodsoll were in third place.

By the fourth lap Bobin and Butterfield had taken the lead, with Easton and Hodsoll in 4th. On the final lap Bobin and Butterfield spun out on the last turn mark, while Easton and Hodsoll would power their way to a 7th place finish.

Although Bobbin and Butterfield spun out on the last lap of the race, they finished second overall and first in their class. Easton and Hodsoll finished not only 7th overall, also third in their class.

    Very calm conditions for a race in the UK though .

    Love to see Dry Martini back in action again . Was at the factory when it was rolled out for delivery a long time back !
