BPS: No Major Incidents Over Holiday Weekend

The police said there were “no major incidents” over the four day holiday weekend, and have thanked the “public for acting responsibly and making smart choices” and also noted the event organisers “had the requisite number of security personnel at all major events.”

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is reporting no major incidents over the four day period from Friday, June 15th through Monday, June 18th.

“We would like to thank members of the public for acting responsibly and making smart choices.

“In addition, we would like to make mention of event organisers who had the requisite number of security personnel at all major events and also acknowledge the support of all the community organisations and partners who did their part in ensuring a safe holiday weekend.”
