Collisions: 490 People Treated In Four Months

According to the Bermuda Hospitals Board road collision statistics for 1 January – 30 April 2018, 490 people required the Emergency Department.

Bermuda Hospitals Board road traffic statistics for the period 1 January 2018 – 30 April 2018:

  • 490 victims required the Emergency Department
  • 36 victims were admitted to the Acute Care Wing
  • 5 victims were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit
  • 4 victims 18 or younger were admitted to the hospital and,
  • 3 victims were discharged to overseas medical facilities, following road traffic accidents.

    Every day an ambulance passes me.Lights flashing…..when you rent a moped advise rear brakes only ,front brake only to supplement the rear ones and throttle down practice when instructing stopping.
