  1. James says:

So they ask this in the height of summer? Clueless

    • Point boy says:

I’m pretty sure we’re gonna have another summer next year James?

  2. Not exactly says:

It’s almost like they shouldn’t have kicked out Steinhoff and they’d actually have a concession there already for the season…

    • Question says:

It wasn’t the BTA that kicked him out. The “clueless” people that did that was the government.

  3. Really? says:

Slap in the to Mr. Steinhoff

  4. redrose says:

    a shark hash restaurant?

  5. inna says:

    Cement Silos anyone??

  6. puzzled says:

    Damn rite.
    Um gunna call it …HAMMERHEADS

  7. puzzled says:

    Did you get my Hammerheads?

  8. puzzled says:

Having re-read this I am concerned.
    There is nothing there.
As James stated ‘ middle of summer’.

By the time they build something it will be end of season.

    Rum time

  9. WSP says:

I guess Tom wasn’t Bermudian enough to run the concession that got knocked down.
I will run a snow ball stand and charge $20 each after the sugar tax is implemented.

  10. Chris says:

Good luck finding an investor for that same property, the last one lost his shirt over.

  11. Redrose says:

So we had a building, upgraded the building, knocked down the building and now want someone to build a building plus run a concession in an area where mommy’s cry about their kids in the park being affected by a concession? Sounds like a good plan to me!

  12. Channing T. Seymour says:

May this time around we are giving a chance to make it place for Bermudians to really make it something special. We need something for our future generations not a seasonal concessions BTA. 9 months of summer fun for those that love to be outside.

    • BermieBorn says:

There was something very special planned for the site but the Government dropped the wrecking ball.

    • PBanks says:

I agree on year-round facility options, although thats probably not in the BTA’s remit. Can Govt find a permanent solution after that screw up with Steinhoff’s initiative? Who’d want to dive into that muck? Probably doomed to temporary pop-ups at best (Furbert gets his wish of a food truck option)
