Motorcyclist Injured After Crashing Into Wall

A 23-year-old man was injured and taken to hospital yesterday [June 3] after he crashed into a wall in St George’s.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:15pm Sunday, June 3rd police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Turkey Hill in St. George’s.

“It appears that the rider involved – believed to be a 23-year-old St. George’s man – was hurt after striking a wall.

“He was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of his injuries and at last check this afternoon had been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.

“The motorcycle was also damaged in the incident. Inquiries continue and any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
