Video: Sunday June 10th ‘Good News’ Spotlight

News that eight Bermudians were recognized on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list including Flora Duffy being awarded an OBE, Kamau Leverock was drafted by Vancouver in Canada’s T20 Cricket League, 9-year-old Rico Lambert was featured in his own art exhibition and Dage Minors earned All-America First Team Honors were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news, Marcus Scotland played at the Oval in London, Marc Daniels’ dancing skills went viral, eight technology interns participated in the TLF Programme, Erica Hawley won the 10K age group in Colorado, the Oakville Blue Devils signed Bermuda footballer Jaqhuil Hill, and The Loren was named one of “world’s best new hotels” by Elite Traveler.

We also posted various community photo galleries, including coverage of the young men competing in the Alpha Beautillion, BNA Netball Summer League action, the Premier and First Division cricket action, the Clyde Best SCC Golf Tournament, the Rubber Duck Derby, and the ‘You Go Girl’ female-only relay.
