Bermuda’s Medal Count Increases At CCCAN

Bermuda’s medal count has now reached an impressive tally of 23 after the Bermuda swimming team won seven more medals on the fourth day of the CCCAN Swimming Championships in Aruba.

Jaedyn Judd finished in 8th place competing in the 11-12 Girls 200m IM clocking a time of 2:46.81, and during the 13-14 Girls 200m IM Payton Zelkin won the Silver Medal when she touched the wall in a time of 2:29.77, Taylor White finished 6th in a time of 2:35.07.

Sam Williamson finished 8th during the 13-14 Boys 200m IM when he was clocked at 2:25.85, Skyler Powell finished 7th during the 15-17 Girls 200 IM when she was clocked at 2:34.91 and Vanessa Esposito finished 6th with a time of 2:33.02 during the Girls 18 & Over 200m IM.

In the 11-12 Girls 50m Breaststroke Josephine Duerden won the Bronze Medal when she was clocked at 36.00, Giada Dudley-Pun finished 4th in a time of 36.18.

Zelkin finished 5th during the 13-14 Girls 50m Breaststroke clocking 35.76.

Williamson would win the 13-14 Boy’s 50m Breaststroke Silver Medal touching the wall in a time of 31.54.

Logan Watson-Brown won the Silver Medal during the 13-14 Girls 100m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 58.82, Gabriela Pitman finished in 6th place clocking 1:02.15.

During the 13-14 Boys 100m Freestyle Final Brian Desmond finished in 6th place with a time of 57.27.

Madelyn Moore won the Silver Medal during the 15-17 Girls 100 Freestyle when she touched the wall in a time of 58.40.

Kai Legband captured the 15-17 Boys 100m Freestyle Gold Medal when he was clocked at 52.28.

During the Girls 18 & Over 100m Freestyle Shannon Hassell finished in 6th place with a time of 1:01.93.

Jesse Washington won the Bronze Medal competing in the Boys 18 & Over 100m Freestyle Final touching the wall in a time of 51.75.

Taylor White finished 4th competing in the 13-14 Girls 200m Butterfly with a time of 2:37.17.
