BFCA To Host Open Forum For Coaches

The Bermuda Football Coaches Association will host an open forum for its membership on Saturday July 7th at the Young Men’s Social Club from 1-3 PM. A coaches social will follow with the viewing of the Russia 2018 World Cup Quarter-Final match at 3pm and lunch will be provided.

The focus of discussion at the forum will be to gather feedback from the island’s football coaches, aimed at improving the standard and delivery of football programs in Bermuda.

BFCA Hosts Open Forum For Coaches

The Technical Advisory Committee of the BFCA will moderate the discussion, and are seeking solution based feedback to help the BFCA develop position statements and recommendations to be forwarded to the Bermuda Football Association – Player Development Committee for consideration of implementation for the 2018-2019 season.

“All active and past coaches with an interest to provide suggestions for changes that can positively impact; the BFA Youth Leagues [Structure, Rules & Regulations], Player Development and Grassroots Programming at Local Clubs, and Player ID and training programs of the National Academy Program are urged to attend,” the BFCA said.

“All BFA club affiliates are asked to encourage their Technical Directors / Youth Coordinators and coaches to attend. To help us with preparations and hospitality requirements, or for additional information, please RSVP your intent to join us by sending an email to coacheducation@bfca.bm.”
