Police Confirm Death Of 30-Year-Old Taylor Grier

The police have now confirmed the death of 30-year-old Taylor Grier following the shooting on Friday evening.

At around 10.00pm on Friday, two men on a motorcycle fired multiple gunshots in the area of Court and Elliot Street, resulting in the death of Mr Grier, while a 55-year-old man was injured. Speaking at the scene that night, the police also confirmed that “someone has been taken into police custody in connection with this incident.”

In a statement this morning, a police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 30-year-old Taylor Grier who died as a result of a firearms incident that took place on Friday, July 27, 2018.

“A family liaison officer has been assigned to the family and a full investigation has commenced.

“Tomorrow at 11:00am, the Bermuda Police Service will host a press conference where we will go into full detail around the investigation.”
