Squash: Bermuda Conclude Pan Ams Contest

Bermuda’s team members concluded competing in the Pan American Squash Championships in the Cayman Islands.

Playing in their final Men’s Division match, Bermuda was defeated by Chile 2 – 0.

Micah Franklin went down to Maximiliano Camiroaga in a five set battle that lasted over an hour, 11-7, 11-13, 11-8, 5-11, 11-9.

Noah Browne would fall in straight games 11-9, 11-4, 11-8 to Jamie Pinto in a match that lasted 30 minutes.

Bermuda’s Women’s team closed out with a 2 – 0 win over Barbados.

Laura Robinson got things going winning the first game 11-8, 11-5, 11-7 over Sumairaa Suleman.

Emma Keane then defeated Jada Smith-Padmore in a match that needed 4 games, Smith-Padmore won the first game 13-11, but Keane would come back and take the next three games 11-8, 11-8, 11-5.
