Bermuda Overseas Missions Fall Trip To Haiti

September 10, 2018

Bermuda Overseas Missions President, David Thompson, announced that his charity group would be travelling this fall on a week trip to Haiti.

“This past summer we took a group of 55 Bermudian youth and adults to India in support of Habitat for Humanity and we had tremendous success working on fourteen homes in Bangalore” said Mr. Thompson.

He added, “As support for our charity had grown, and in an effort to enhance collaboration with other local charities, we have decided to conduct a second mission to Haiti in conjunction with the Feed My Lambs Ministry spearheaded by Phillip Rego.”

Mr Thompson reported that from the 7th to the 13th October 2018 a small group would assist Feed My Lambs Ministry with the construction of a house for one of their resident leaders.

“We look forward to a continuing relationship with Feed My Lambs Ministry and the opportunity to continue to support them in the future with their expansion plans,” he said.

The cost of this trip will be approximately $1,800 per person and those interested need to sign up by the 17th September and put down a deposit for $500 by 21st September 2018.

People interested in joining BOM should contact Mr. Thompson at 295 1078 and sign up for the trip.
