CT Service To Resume At Brown-Darrell Clinic

September 24, 2018

Dr. Ewart Brown, executive chairman of Bermuda HealthCare Services and Brown-Darrell Clinic, has announced that CT service will resume at Brown-Darrell facility on November 3.

“The decision to re-open was based on two things– the decision by the government to establish more reasonable CT fees and the public demand for quicker access to exams and reports,” said Dr. Brown.

“Brown-Darrell began offering CT service in 2008 and until June 2016, was a busy facility until efforts led by the OBA resulted in drastic reductions in fees paid for CT [as high as 87%],” the announcement said.

“The facility was closed in late January of this year.”

Do the public get back the $600,000 they gave to Dr. Brown to subsidize his income during the intervening period? Poor bugger, probably struggled to pay his bills during that time.
