Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With Car

A 28-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car on Harbour Road in Paget.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11pm Friday, September 7th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on Harbour Road in Paget, near the junction with Lovers Lane.

“It appears that the collision – involving a car being driven in the eastbound lane of Harbour Road and a motorcyclist riding in the opposite direction – occurred at a bend in the road.

“The rider, believed to be a 28-year-old Sandys parish man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of facial injuries.

“An update on his medical condition is anticipated in due course.”

“Both vehicles were damaged and the scene was processed by the relevant police personnel. Any witnesses to this collision are asked to call Constable Maya Tucker on 295-0011.”
