Netball Celebrity Exhibition Match On Saturday
The Bermuda Netball Association will be hosting their Celebrity Exhibition Match, with local celebrities set to showcase their netball skills on September 29th at CedarBridge Academy.
Some of the celebrities set to play include  boxer Teresa Perozzi, Senator Jason Hayward, OBA Deputy Chair Tarik Smith, former Senator Nick Kempe, comedian Nadanja Bailey, runner Lamont Marshall, basketball player Chris Crumpler and more.
The BNA said, “This year is expected to be just as exciting as last year. With some celebrities from last year returning to the court, like Nick Kempe and Nakita Robinson paired with an injection of new celebrities like Teresa Perozzi, Nadanja and Lamont Marshall.
“The celebrities have already started the banter with Earl Basden and Tarik Smith putting a friendly wager on the match. If Tarik’s team loses, he is willing to wash all the soiled shirts at his laundromat.”
“Coaches for the match are long time veteran Merle Parfitt and national shooter Danielle Raynor. Both are fresh off a missionary trip to Ghana with the Ace It Foundation, were they spent 2 weeks teaching netball and finished with a tournament. Come out and support, as this will be a fun filled family event you don’t want to miss!”
Doors open at 6pm and entry for adults is $10, while the cost is $5 for children and seniors $5, with proceeds in aid of the BNA’s National Program.
