The latest forecast from the U.S. National Hurricane Center said, “Florence is moving toward the west near 9 mph (14 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue for the next couple days.

“A west-northwestward motion with an increase in forward speed is expected by early next week and continue into middle part of next week. On the forecast track, the center of Florence will move over the warm waters of the southwestern Atlantic Ocean through Wednesday.

“Maximum sustained winds are near 65 mph (100 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual restrengthening is forecast over the weekend, and Florence is expected to become a hurricane again by Sunday and a major hurricane early next week.

“Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km) from the center.”

When ever there is an approach of any hurricane we always fully prepare we go through all the motions regardless if it is a direct hit or a mis we do this a week ahead of time, why ? because it gives us a chance to help others.

This is a time when we all must help one another
