The BNT provides hands-on, curriculum linked lessons and experiences to over 3,000 students and 400 teachers annually.

Through the BNT’s Three-Part learning approach, students learn about social studies and science at historic BNT houses and nature reserves including Verdmont, Tucker House, the BNT Museum at the Globe Hotel, Paget Marsh, Spittal Pond and Vesey Nature Reserve.

Teachers can also use the BNT’s series of Teacher Resource Guides to teach independently.

President of the Trust, Alana Anderson said: “The goal of the programme is to foster a greater understanding of our island, our unique heritage, our natural resources and how we can preserve our quality of life now and for future generations.

“We are thankful to The Argo Foundation for their valuable contribution to the BNT.”

What a wonderful contribution to an organisation that has so much to offer through historical significant property and storytelling. An impressive summation of the programme by Ms. Anderson.

“The goal of the programme is to foster a greater understanding of our island, our unique heritage, our natural resources and how we can preserve our quality of life now and for future generations.

Thanks to Argo for seeing the value of BNT educational outreach programmes and making this investment.
