Bermuda Win More CARIFTA Triathlon Medals

The CARIFTA Triathlon and Aquathlon came to an end in Tobago, with the Bermuda team making an excellent showing, placing second on the points table, out of the eleven nations and islands competing, with the team claiming multiple medal wins.

After winning four medals on the first day of competition, Bermuda’s young triathletes claimed two more, with Jasmin Hasselkuss winning gold, while Daria Desmond claimed a bronze. The Bermuda team results from the final day of competition are below.

11-12 Girls:

  • 1st – Jasmin Hasselkuss
  • 3rd – Daria Desmond
  • 11th – Bella Howes
  • 14th – Fenella Wightman
  • 18th – Ava Gabai-Maiato

11-12 Boys:

  • 7th – Rory Fleming
  • 10th – Callum MacFarlane

13-15 Girls

  • 5th – Taylor White
  • 6th Zoe Hasselkuss
  • 10th – Liana Medeiros
  • 12th – Myeisha Sharrieff
  • 15th – Amber Simons

13-15 Boys

  • 4th – Tommy Marshall
  • 6th – Nick Pilgrim
  • 9th – Caleb Ingham
  • 16th – Brian Desmond
  • 18th – Nico Davis
