Clemons Earns Best Midfielder Title In Sweden
The Sweden Second Division Football honours were announced with Bermuda’s Willie Clemons — who plays professionally in Sweden for Bodens BK — nominated in two categories.
Clemons was nominated for the Second Division Goal of the Season as well as the Second Division Best Midfielder, with the Bermudian footballer earning the honour of being named the Swedish Second Division Best Midfielder.
The footballer, who also plays for Bermuda internationally, tweeted that he was “happy to be nominated for goal of the season, honoured to win best midfielder.”
